Photography Evaluation Write Up

My intention of the first photograph was to get the character to look off into the distance. I wanted to get the character to the side of the shot. I did not set up a depth of field for this photograph.

I selected this photograph because i liked the way the character was positioned and the way that he was standing. It fulfilled the purpose best because some of the shots that were taken were unusable due to laughing. Others did not have the position that i liked for the poster design. It was suitable for the poster and dvd box because of the way the character is presented in the photograph.

When i edited the photograph i cropped it down to cut the background out as it was not needed. I adjusted with the brightness and contrast making it -45 to 100. The levels were changed to 22 1.31 247. I then slightly changed the exposure. I then changed the vibrance to -83.

I really like the way the way the final photograph turned out. i anted it to look slightly faded to go with my designs for the poster.

I think that this photograph worked well into the final piece as it goes with the genre of the film.  I think that it brought the whole poster together.
